The iPad has gotten some neat tablet-friendly versions of a couple websites, one of which is Gmail. Yesterday, Google rolled out a nice new two-pane Gmail interface for tablets like the iPad, and the N900.
And again, there’s a nice little trick you can use to get the iPad version of sites like Gmail, working on the N900. Y’know, if you’re bored of the full version working on your N900. It goes without saying, that these sites are mostly made for portrait view (so just put your N900’s browser in portrait when needed), and will no doubt look a bit cramped in the N900’s smaller screen.
But hey, it’s possible and here’s how you do it. Similar to our trick to get the Android version of Google Buzz working on the N900, you’ll have to use the User Agent Switcher for this one.
and that’s it, test it out your self and tell us what you think!
