The first thing that caught me about this app was it’s name. Now for those who don’t know I’m from Trinidad and Tobago and if you’re familiar with my people you would know that we have our own dialect and one phrase used daily from this dialect is, “yuh done” or “u done” So it makes sense now right? Honestly I heard about this app and I wasn’t excited, I thought to myself, “damn another boring task manager” and when I opened it, I was greeted by nothing exciting, however when I dug further I realised it was packed with various goodies, like a voice recorder, sketch app, etc.

This makes recording tasks very simple. You can draw, record, take a picture or type out text to attach to your “task” to make it easier to remember. The lite version is what I used to write this review and it loads reasonably fast although my devices is overclocked to 1.2Ghz. It comes packed with themes so the programme can match your current theme as best as possible however in the future, I would like to see an integration with my social networks so that important events can be broadcasted into the app and then you can be alerted via a tone and get to see what tasks you have available. Maybe also task sharing where, your boss or friend can write out a task and send it to you over Wifi in the work place,for now you’re just alerted of your tasks when you set the alarm for it.

It comes also with a neat calender and the *Help button actually is animated so no need to read a list of boring help notes. But honestly I’m not a task manager person, and even though it comes with so many nice things to make jotting down tasks simple fast, I rather just take a mental note, but it is a great looking app though and very useful for those with a busy schedule.

A few days ago I got my n8 review unit from the good folks at nokia and today im here to give you an unboxing of the device and to tell you a few things that i like about it so far.

There is no standard Nokia Video out cable in the box which means unless you have a HD Tv there is no free way to connect the n8 to your television but beside that the box is pretty well packed just like most nokia boxes are.

With the new rebirth of Symbian came many new feature most of which i really like, features like USb on the go, HD gaming, Web tv and better social network integration but the one that im most happy about has got to be the visual multitasking.

It displays a screenshot of the apps or games that are open which looks really nice and easy to use, still its not as nice as multitasking on maemo but it’s way better then the s60v5 version. I was able to get up to 25 apps running at the same time which very good considering that i could only get up 7 – 8 running on my 5800.

Its been n8 video mania these last few weeks, with new videos of the n8 popping up all over the internet showing off the cool new features of symbian ^3 and n8. So after a lot of looking around i have found most if not all of the latest n8 video for you guys and put them all in this one little post ………view them below.

If you own a nokia device or you’re just a nokia fanboy odds are you have been to the nokia ovi store, even if its just to have a look or browse through the apps, odds are you have been there, its the best place to find games,videos,themes and thousands of applications for your s60v3 and s60v5 smart phones, the only problem with have so many apps, is that as a new user it can be somewhat hard to find the best applications, and those of you who visits the store on a regular bases know that it takes more then just a few clicks of the next button to find what you’re looking for.

#5 – Wordsearch

its by far one of the most addictive word games out there, its perfect for people who are always on the go and not have to time to sit and play a long action game, its easy to just pick up and play and its a hold lot of fun

#4- Shazam

so you’re walking down the street and you hear a song playing, and you want to know the name of the song, what do you do? you could go and ask the person who is playing the music the name of the song or you could just take out your phone and start up Shazam, Shazam is identify any tune and tells you the name of the song,the artists and album as well as the options to buy the track right then and there

#3- Nimbuzz

if you’re on Google talk,Windows live,Yahoo,AIM,My space,ICQ,Skype,Facebook,Jabber,Giovani or Gadu-Gadu then you need to get Nimbuzz! from online chat and instant messages to international calls and file sending this app does it all, it pulls all your contacts together in one place, so you can exchange messages with all your friends on all networks

#2- qik

so you’re on the road and on the go and there is a dog dancing on the sidewalk, what do you do? (a) – run away (b) – kill it or (c) – recode it! i’m going to go with (c) and if you going to recode it, you might as well share it online right? With Qik this is easy and simple (the recode and share online part, not the killing and running away part) just start it up and and hit recode, you video is then instantly live on the internet where the world can see it!

#1- Gravity

if you’re on twitter and you have a mobile phone then you need garvity? not gravity as in gravity it self but gravity as in the s60 twitter client It, Gravity is a fully-featured twitter client that supports multiple accounts, Twitter Search, Laconica, Ping.fm, posting of pictures via MobyPicture & TwitPic and it wraps everything into a gorgeous looking interface

Friend View has just been updated and has a new feature called friend alerts

Now you can keep Friend View in the background in “Normal” or “Active” modes (options: Refresh Mode) and a “pling-plung” from Friend View will tell you that your friend is close by so you can meet. You will of course get alerted as well if Friend View is in use in foreground.

Depending on where you live or travel, on your schedule and mood, you can adjust the Friend alerts’ meeting zone (options: More: Settings – Friend Alerts & Meeting zone) to define how close your friends should be to get alerted.

We also did small enhancements and bug fixings.

Remember to try the shortcuts for a better experience:

• click 1 to open Friends
• click 2 to start writing a post
• click 3 to open What’s up!
• click # and * to zoom in and out
• click 0 to quickly locate yourself on the map
• click 8 to switch to panning or hopping mode on map
• click 5 to switch Refresh mode to get updates depending on your battery possibilities and your and your friends’ activity
