Nokia Dropped The Ball With the N8 | What They Should Have Done

Unless you read this post and the comments below it will be hard to understand this post.

I don’t know why you people are shocked that this happen, the same thing happened with the n97, see nokia gave the n8 to the big US sites Gizmodo, Engadget etc to get more eyes on their product knowing that iphone ass kissers like Gizmodo would hammer it into the ground and I know that they need to make a name for them self in places like North America but do they really want that name to be a bad one? it sure looks like it from want they have been doing over the years but I don’t Know.

This is what Nokia should have done – knowing that they have so much hype around the n8 and everyone wants to know more about it and get their hands on it give it to AAS, ZOMG ITS CJ, THE NOKIA BLOG maybe GADGETIZED and all the other nokia blogs, why?? because those are the people who know about symbian and would be able to tell people how far it has come, because they are the people who have been with you from day one! because they like it or not are the ones who would have given the n8 a good name no matter what, and what about the Big US sites? you ask well they know people want to find out about the n8 and if they don’t have it and a “smaller site” like zcj has it and is posting about it what do you think they will do? LINK TO IT! because they want the latest news on their site and if someone that had the n8 said “the N8 is hot” they will link to it plus they don’t have an n8 to say no it’s not hot so they will have to go with what the other guy said.

The product will still have the same eyes on it and people will still get to know the nokia name but it would a good name this time. simple…

All Nokia N-series Devices Will Run Meego | After the N8

The nokia n8 will be the last n-series devices to run the Symbian OS, which means all other nokia n-series devices from now on will run the new meego OS. This is something i am very happy that nokia made this move because i think this is the only way that nokia can keep up with apple’s iOS4 and google’s android OS, so what does this mean for Symbian and the new Symbian^3 Os? It means that it will be push down to the X,C & E-series devices.

Everyone Connect Countdown Ends and Brings 3 New Nokia devices! | Nokia C6, Nokia C3 and Nokia E5

The nokia everyone connect countdown timer hit zero today and Nokia unveiled three new devices, two of which are of the C class and the other an E series device, all three are equipped with Full QWERTY keyboards,GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, there is no question that the Nokia C6 is better of the three with a 3.2″ touchscreen of nHD resolution it also has Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, the only foreseeable down fall is that it runs Symbian S60 5th edition (Symbian^1) and not Symbian^3 still the C6 also has a nice form-factor, it is has side-slider like what we saw and the e75 but on the front it only had 3 keys like the 5800, personally i have been waiting so see to form-factor on a nokia device for a while.
